Gratitude Journal 10/20

I want to end every day of my life in gratitude so one of my goals right now is listing 7 things that I am grateful for that day

I am grateful for Continued Goals.  The goals that I pick back up each day that continue to improve my life and the life of my family daily!

Pumpkins, fresh off the farm and absolutely free.  When I returned home from taking the children to school this morning they were all sitting there waiting to greet me and give me a smile.  I am so looking forward to carving them and painting them with the kiddos.  The roasted pumpkin seeds and pumpkin butter to be made!

Kiddos, and that is enough said on it's own.  My children are really amazing creatures and they give me more joy than can be measured.

Sleeping baby!  I am doing drop in childcare right now.  Not heavily promoted but...  back to the point.  A few times a week I am caring for this sweet little 4 month old gal just for an hour here and there throughout the week.  Sometimes when your children have grown a bit you forget how WONDERFUL it is to hold a tiny sleeping baby in your arms!

Waking early.  I stayed up a bit later than my goal bedtime last night and was worried about a tired morning.  But I actually woke half an hour earlier than usual and felt rested and alive!  I got to start my coffee before I started anything else, and still had time to make a nice breakfast for the kiddos!

The ability to communicate.  Now more than ever I appreciate that.  My eldest daughter and I have had a difficult time communicating for the last couple years (that in itself is not another post, but a novel in itself).  But through a series of recent events (sequel to first book), we are learning and practicing better communication which is not only helping us to repair our relationship but improving our relationships with others!

New Projects.  A new project always gives me a renewed sense of purpose.  That sense of purpose inserts itself into so many areas of my life.  This blog is my newest project and I'm just having so much fun.  I have a lot to learn but I am so ready!

What are you grateful for today?
