Introduction

I am very excited and very scared to be starting this blog!

My name is Anne and  I am a wife and mother to 4 wonderful girls, bonus mama to 3 more. Sorry for the age of the photos!  Family pictures are sorely lacking here!

 

I am creator and owner of a group at CafeMom called Make Life Beautiful and we have an amazing time developing friendships, supporting each other and setting small goals that we work towards to help make the lives of ourselves and our families more beautiful.  My personal goals focus on living in a frugal way that can allow me to stay at home with our children on my husband's income and on parenting my children in a gentle way that encourages them to explore who they are now and who they aspire to become.

  Over the years since I created Make Life Beautiful a few of my friends there encouraged me to start a blog that may be able to reach more women than a CafeMom group in our search for a more beautiful life!  I've hesitated because I am unsure if my writing skills are up to par, if I have the time to invest in it, just not having a lot of technical know how, and any myriad of excuses....  but I LOVE BLOGS.  I love reading other people's blogs and I think that the time that they take and the sharing that they do is so admirable and inspiring.
